As always russell is a beautiful place to spend the summer. Summer also means tons to cool sunsets and photos. I'm loving swimming, walking, kayaking, reading and taking summer photos.....
Let me know in the comments what your favourite summer actvities are! Note: not all the photos shown are my own. Some were taken by my beautiful friends who were up in Russell with me. Thank you to them all for there patience (I am quite bossy sometimes when I want a certain shot), their good looks and their excellent skills. :) I didn't actually get a lot of holiday photos. But my friend came over and we took a few photos, so at least I have something to share. There were some amazing sunsets in Russell (okay, only one that I got pics of). So keep a look out for those photos. Alice In WonderlandDown the Rabbit hole......... Painting the roses red. Wild & FreeMore photos comming soon. We hope to continue both shoot ideas a little later. (yeah, we got bored and didn't get back to it). Let us know in the comments what kind of photoshoot we should do next!
It's that time of year again, as I keep saying and I haven't made a post scince October (I am terrible) it's time to share a few christmas pic from past years...... This trip was quite a while ago but I haven't had time to put photos on yet. My friend Campbell came up with us which was nice for everyone. Friends of ours had left a remote control boat for us, then Jasper got another for his birthday. Needless to say plenty of time was spend playing with them on the pool. As mentioned before Jasper celebrated his birthday (isn't my cake wonderful?) The boys were all really into fishing as well, which I'm not to keen on. Dead fish kind of freak me out. The Russell Birdman was also on and was very entertaining to watch. Contestants dress up or create 'wings' then jump of the Russell wharf (into freezing winter water) in an attempt to 'fly' the furthest. All in all we had heaps of fun! We also got two new kayaks to take up which are sooo much nicer than the old ones. Our latest trip up to Russell was not quite as eventful as the last, but having no other friends or family around made it rather peaceful.
The huge pine trees the block the view are going to be cut down soon, so you'll be able to see pictures of that. Mum also found an odd skeleton, I'm pretty sure it's a sea dragon but leave your guess in the comments! We also got the lights on the jetty to work and it was beautiful! We took the camera down, played around with it and managed to get some pretty cool photos. The stars were especially pretty. Dad & I kayaked to an island were we found an old abandoned campsite, which was pretty interesting. Anyway that's it from me. :) You are about to witness some of the rarest photos on earth! Photos of my cat Tommy! He hates the flash and the camera in his face, but honestly I think he is the most beautiful little boy, along with my sweet Tilly cat (photos of her are pretty much non-existent) Yea, okay, the pictures aren't as amazing as I made them out to be, but hey! Great cat close ups! And he's still adorable! Love cats forever!
These are some pics my friend and I took one day, just because we were bored. Some of them are quite good, I think anyway and since we haven't had anything in a while....... But be warned! Some are really random, and as to why so many are in black & white, well we don't even know! Anyway..... Hope You enjoy! As usual Russell was great. We took a day long walk from Russell to Opua then to Paihia and back. We also took a trip out to Kerikeri where we visited the market (no photos) and the Stone House.
Enjoy! Keep Wishing On Suns Solana Yes we've been to Russell! And being me I actually didn't take any photos of the egg hunt we did, and amazingly I didn't take a hundred million photos, probably because I was in the pool all the time! so, we haven't had photos in a while (as usual) we'll be going up to Russell in the Weekend for Easter, so keep and eye out, in the mean time enjoy these photos, just a bunch of random ones I like.... not all taken by me of course! |
