HI!
Officially my brother and his community problem solving team are AWSOME! I'm so proud of him (of course I want to be part of it, but I can't be part of everything)
Their project is helping children with disabilities access places like the life education van, at the moment many children (ones in wheelchairs) can't get into the life ed van because there is no ramp. When the life ed van visited the school the two students in wheelchairs had to be lifted into the van by the deputy principal! The team identified this as an issue and made the NZ herald headlines when they spotted an article saying something about a women in a wheelchair or with a buggy could not access her local bank because there was no ramp (familiar?) They had already been researching lifts and ramps and contacted the herald saying that they thought they had a solution, they them got interviewed and their solution worked! So cool! Now they have made the papers again with a campaign to raise money for a life for the life ed van. Their give a little link is below. Please do donate some.

I think their project is super cool and I would love to help! Unfortunately I can't :(
But I still want to support them and I also want them to get to the NZ National competition for CmPS. This would be a great achievement for them and if they win this they will then go to America for the International championships! They have a good chance as there aren't that many CmPS teams out there. My CmPS team went last year, we didn't win, we aren't continuing with the project, we kinda already finessed the project.
But don't get the idea that the team only want to go to America, (though they probs do want to get there) They are passionet about solving this problem in schools, soooo
GIVE A LITTLE!
Also I'm part of a Future Problem Solving team aiming to also go to go to the National Competition and then to America, our chances aren't as high, there are many more FPS teams and it's our first year, however we are still aiming as high as possible and if we don't get anywhere this year we will next year! GO US!
