The weekend was a little hectic...... My friend came over on Saturday, unplanned for, as you do. We made a cool marshmallow catapult, although it didn't work very well.
Do you like it? It's pretty simple to copy from the picture, if you want to give it a go. But anyway, on that day I didn't get much done. I also had a sleepover at my grandparents (they don't live far) which I haven't done in ages! That was kinda fun, but I also didn't get any homework time on that night.
On Sunday I wasted my day doing homework. Okay not the whole day, but a good hours, almost two on maths and some more on science and global work.

However I did have a good weekend more or less. And I enjoyed being able to read after lunch. Have a long bath after dinner. Eat a good 'Kiwi' pie for lunch and crumpets and pancakes for breakfast. Hang out with my friends and family. And as they all say, it's the little moments we look back on and wish we remembered them more. Or something along those lines anyway.
Whatever the saying is, it's true. We should make sure we take time to enjoy the things we love, all the little things. Chatting with friends. Toasting marsh mallows. Watching a movie with your family. Reading a really good book (Harry Potter!). Roasts on a Sunday night for dinner. That was what I was thinking, "the little things are important to enjoy" as I photographed my carefully decorated pie, and I thought I'd share these thoughts with you. Some deep(ish) thinking. Anyway enjoy your week!
